Whether implementing a custom-developed solution or leveraging our PepperTM online marketing platform, our account/project managers serve as our clients’ primary point of contact on the Vodori team. A key differentiator for Vodori stems from the “deep generalist” culture we aspire to preserve. That is, all personnel are expected to have strong skills in a few areas – we are not a group of specialists.
To that end, we are looking for a hands-on project manager who is a savvy marketer, relationship manager, and task master. With an ability to facilitate requirements gathering meetings with senior client executives, create and manage project plans, and become a trusted advisor to our clients, our Project Managers are the client advocates for the solutions we build.
We are looking for project managers that can anticipate project states, triage and communicate impacts of changing dynamics, and manage teams of 4-10 people. Assisting with new business development including proposal creation, contracts, and high-level estimation, our best project managers have experience in at least one of Vodori’s three key disciplines: strategy, user experience, and technology.
This is a client-facing role and thus excellent consulting skills and comfort with working with senior client leadership are a must.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of the client relationship and satisfaction through expectations management, project/program management, relationship building
- Assist in creating proposals and statements of work
- Ownership of the project budget and managing projects to that budget, controlling scope and negotiating exceptions
- Consultative solution delivery working with multiple cross-functional Vodori and client teams
- Continuous improvement of the Vodori project methodology, incorporating best practices for execution efficiency and solution effectiveness
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the web development/design or consulting industries
- A demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility in client and project management functions
- Proven ability to manage concurrent projects and deadlines across multiple clients and/or multiple stakeholders within the same client
- Comfortable leading cross-functional meetings as an active facilitator and contributor to the solution definition
- Strong persuasive writing and communication skills for articulating our points of view and solution concepts
- Subject matter expertise in online marketing and an ability to develop a point of view on solution requirements
- Experience with large, global corporate, division, product/brand, and intranet website creation
- Experience in pharmaceutical/medical diagnostics a plus
